Browser language

With Advanced Ads Pro, you can deliver ads based on the browser language. This allows you to display ads for visitors who only understand a certain language or to create custom greeting messages. The improved targeting boosts click-through rates significantly improves conversion rates, and increases your earnings.

Ads in a user’s native language catch their attention and create a smoother transition to landing pages that match their preferences. For instance, promoting country-specific online stores becomes more effective.

Display ads based on browser language

In general, you don’t need to make any changes to display an ad to all users. Only utilize this option if you want to limit their delivery to target specific user groups.

To set up ad targeting based on browser language, create or edit an ad, navigate to the Targeting meta box, and select the Browser Language condition.

Add the Browser language condition to your ad unit

Once you’ve added this condition, you can specify which language the visitor’s browser must accept to view the ad.

Please note that the browser language doesn’t necessarily correspond to the user’s location. In fact, many browsers default to English.

Examples of using the Browser Language condition

Here are two examples of language-based ad targeting. For the first, we’d like to display the ad to users who have British English chosen in their browsers’ settings:

Targeting users with British English as browser language

For the second example, we choose to show the ad to users who have selected German, regardless of their exact locale:

As you can see, the application of the Browser Language condition is quite straightforward. Nonetheless, if you experience any trouble setting it up, please reach out to our support.
